What makes Christmas special for Craft Savvy Studios
We are two moms that LOVE Christmas and what it means. From cute holiday mugs to the special moments created, we want to share our story with you.
We grew up knowing the Christmas magic our mom created and now we want to do the same for our family and yours. Our mom goes all out for Christmas. We are talking decorations everywhere, five Christmas trees with different themes, Santa's anywhere, and everywhere you can put them. She knew how to make Christmas the most magical time of the year, but even with all of that, what she really did was make lasting memories. We would bake cookies and make treats while our mom sipped on coffee because let's be real, she needed the extra caffeine! We would turn on the Santa Tracker on Christmas Eve and watch where Santa was headed next. As he would get closer to our state we would be jumping up and down so excited for Santa to arrive. Finally, Santa and his reindeer were one state away. Mom would pull out the special plate for Santa's cookies and that special holiday mug for his milk. Don't forget the reindeer too, we would put carrots out on the porch for all of them. In the morning we would peek downstairs and our parents would already be waiting for us, holiday mug in hand. We would go straight for the stockings while mom and dad sipped that glorious coffee.
The cozy moments spent with family gathered around the fire watching Christmas movies (Santa Claus is Coming to Town) and drinking hot chocolate was a core memory for us. We all know presents and laughter are all a part of making memories, and as you grow up traditions grow with you, but one thing that stayed consistent was the cute holiday mugs our mom and dad would drink coffee out of during the holiday season. Now when we go and visit with our kids, we get to be part of the tradition of drinking coffee out of those same holiday mugs and watching our toddlers ransack the stockings. When we visit for the holidays every morning is a little more magical when you get to pick the mug with Santa or the gingerbread man. Everyone in our family has their favorite.
